Dr. Bob Doebele cofounded Rain Therapeutics and is currently Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado at Denver. Bob joined the faculty at University of Colorado Denver in July of 2008 as a member of the Thoracic Malignancies Program, and also co-founded and co-directs the University of Colorado Molecular Tumor Board, is Scientific Lead for ORIEN at the University of Colorado, is a co-PI of the SPORE in Lung Cancer, and is the Director of the Thoracic Oncology Research Initiative at the University of Colorado Cancer Center. Bob is a physician-scientist who leads a translational research laboratory and has strived to advance personalized medicine through the identification, analysis, and therapeutic targeting of driver oncogenes and their signaling pathways in lung cancer in order to improve the clinical outcomes of patients with this disease.
Bob is married, with two daughters, and resides in Denver, Colorado. He enjoys strong coffee, skiing, swimming, and camping with his family all over the state of Colorado.
Bob received his AB in Molecular Biology from Princeton University, an MD and PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, and completed an Internal Medicine Residency and Medical Oncology Fellowship at the University of Chicago.
